Offsite
Full offsite schema implies that all the project activities (including
business analysis, requirements collection, etc.) are performed remotely.
Both parties stay at their locations and communicate by means of
phone, instant messengers, email, etc

where requirements are quite clear and target organization does not
require deep analysis.
Part Offsite
Part offsite presumes that part of the project activities is performed at
the customer's site. Typically, onsite work is reasonable in the initial stages
of the project: inception and elaboration (problem area investigation, requirements
collection); and on the final stage (beta release and final release installation,
user's reply processing, technical support).
